Many business sectors utilise Lifting Equipment. This can be anything from shackles and eyebolts, to an over-head crane . To ensure the safe lifting of loads, and legal compliance, all lifting equipment MUST be examined every 6 or 12 months depending on the equipment. To help, we will send you reminders for when your examinations are due. We can provide Statutory Inspections at your premises or in our workshop and issue a full ‘Report of Thorough Examination of Lifting Equipment’.
LOLER addresses the specific risks associated with the use of lifting equipment. Thorough examination and inspection are key requirements of the Regulations. To meet these requirements, duty holders must:
- ensure lifting equipment (including lifting accessories) undergoes regular thorough examination by a competent person
Catena utilises innovative software, CoreRFID , which allows you to access your LOLER Reports of Thorough Examination, online, instantly and from any device, even your phone or tablet! Just ask for a login and access the portal from the My Reports link, at the top.
